The workshop will address the current scientific and technological advances in the field of surface engineering for applications involving extreme or singular conditions such as high temperature, corrosive environments, biological fluids, severe loads, etc.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the coating development and surface modification for achievement of improved performance in applications related to energy, mechanical, automotive, aeronautical and biomedical sectors.
This meeting will provide an excellent occasion to join experienced scientists and industrial partners in a discussion forum where ideas that promote cooperation and technology transfer can be exchanged.
